Part 3--Snow White Vibrato
One of the things I love most about teaching adults in Houston is the diversity within my voice studio. The students in my studio speak Spanish, Russian, Finnish, Hindi, German, and Portuguese. Amazing, huh?
So, after reading parts 1 and 2, a Russian student says, "I wonder what Snow White sounded like in the Russian version?"
She found it and, spoiler alert! Russian Snow White sounds GREAT!
The singer's tone quality and vibrato is much more aligned with classical singing fundamentals. Her sound is much rounder and richer than the English version and her vibrato is slower and more "natural" to our classical standards.
